Educating your staff and leadership is a crucial step in successfully launching Kindrid Giving. Many of the best Kindrid Giving launches are a result of a very strong team effort — and that starts by identifying who needs to join your Kindrid Giving team! 

Here are a few roles that will need to be filled as you think about launching Kindrid Giving. Take a second to read through the list and identify who on your staff fits the bill. (One person wearing all the hats? We’ll make sure he or she receives all the information!) 

Finance / Administrator 💰

Who needs access to batch reports? This person typically manages the books, accounting, and reporting. He or she will need access to the manager dashboard and will usually work with the Kindrid team on a weekly basis. This can be your accountant, CFO, or even a volunteer. 

Worship/Communications Pastor 🎤

Who will conduct a live walk-through of Kindrid Giving? Typically responsible for non-sermon communication (i.e. weekly announcements, MC responsibilities), this person will most likely be involved in the live rollout of Kindrid Giving, as well as subsequent offering reminders

Teaching Pastor 📖

Who will encourage a culture of generosity in your church? Usually the shepherd of the church who teaches on a weekly basis. This person will coach the congregation in generosity and will utilize Kindrid Giving as a tool in building a more generous church.

Media/Communications 🎥

Who will update your printed and digital communication materials? This person typically runs slide decks, makes changes to your website, manages the bulletin etc. He or she will need access to Kindrid Giving engagement materials.

Next Steps 📩

  • Invite your teammates to be managers so they can help manage your Kindrid Giving account, customize your platform and messaging, grab important links, etc. Use manager permissions to limit or permit a teammate's access to certain areas of the manager dashboard.
  • As a team, prepare for an amazing launch! We highly recommend scheduling a meeting with all the members of your team, taking time to go over how Kindrid Giving works for your givers and for your staff, as well as covering what needs to be worked out prior to your live launch.
